ECAS-SFdS course - Random Forests: basics, extensions and applications
event date: 2023-10-08 to 2023-10-13The next ECAS-SFdS school will take place in Fréjus, French Riviera, from October 8 to 13, 2023.
The European Courses in Advanced Statistics (ECAS) and the Société Française de Statistique (SFdS) invite to the next ECAS-SFdS school. The course entitled "Random forests: basics, extensions and applications" will present several extensions of random forests and will demonstrate their ability in applications from several domains, starting from the basics of tree-based and popular tree ensemble methods.
The link between random forests and other popular machine learning techniques will also be discussed, as well as some clues about using more abstract tools to analyse the behaviour of random forests.
