ENBIS-23 Annual Conference in Valencia
Call for Papers
ENBIS will have its Annual Conference from 10-14 September 2023 in Valencia, Spain.
Abstract submissions are already open. The Call for papers file includes details on the abstract submission process. The deadline for abstract submission is the 30th of April, 2023.
Pierre Pinson (Imperial College London) and Richard D De Veaux (Williams College) will deliver keynote talks at the conference. And as usual, the conference will also include the 2023 ENBIS Awards ceremony, with presentations from the award recipients. Please check here for updated information on the conference.
ENBIS Knowledge Fund 2023
ENBIS Knowledge Fund has been established to support the participation of young people in the ENBIS annual meetings.
Young people are eligible if:
- Their work involves statistics or related fields (data analytics, data science, business analytics, statistical engineering);
- They work in a country with an ENBIS local network or in a European country;
- They are under 35 years of age by the beginning of the ENBIS meeting, which they are applying for;
- They possess at least a master's level degree.
By the 8th of May 2023, applicants must send to the president of ENBIS an extended abstract (at least four pages including pictures and references) of the contribution they intend to present at the ENBIS meeting, a supporting letter and a CV which indicates that the eligibility criteria are met.
The Executive committee of ENBIS will assign at least three and at most five grants. The winners will be notified by the 5th of June, 2023.
