The 8th European Statistics Day will be held on 20 October 2023 under the motto 'Statistics for better development in a fast-changing world'.
ESAC adopted a statement for the European Statistics Day during its 40th meeting on 27 June 2023 available here: link.
The European statistical community celebrates the European Statistics Day on 20 October. It was initiated by the European Statistical Advisory Committee (ESAC) and is supported by the European Statistical System (ESS) and the European System of Central Banks.
It was first celebrated on 20 October 2016, in Budapest, during the second Conference of European Statistics Stakeholders.
